CREDENTIAL PROGRAMS
Credentials are titles you earn for completing a course and successfully passing its associated exam. 3Com offers three credentials that meet the needs of sales, presales technical, and post-sales technical individuals. These are the 3SP, 3DP and 3IAP respectively. You can earn a distinct credential for each of the products or product families listed under the technlogy categories above. Simply select a navigation tab above and review the steps to earn your credential.
3Com SALES PROFESSIONAL(3SP)
If you are a 3Com partner, differentiate yourself from the competition by earning your 3Com Sales Professional (3SP) credential. These highly informative on-line/on-demand sales training courses deliver information on 3Com's products that will help you understand your customers, their needs, and the 3Com solution that will win you the deal.
Earning your 3SP is easy. Select the product or product family training of your choice from one of the technology areas above (LAN, WAN, VOIP, Network Management, Wireless, Security, SMB), complete the course and successfully pass the exam at the end of the course.
3Com DESIGN PROFESSIONAL(3DP)
If you recommend technical solutions, whether its a single product or an entire convergence solution, earning a 3Com Design Professional (3DP) credential is the path for you. These on-line/on-demand and instructor led training courses are designed specifically for pre-sales technical individuals. You will learn the parts, part numbers and complimentary products needed to delivery a world-class 3Com solution.
Earning your 3DP is easy. Select the product or product family training of your choice from one of the technology areas above (LAN, WAN, VOIP, Network Management, Wireless, Security, SMB), complete the course and successfully pass the exam at the end of the course.
3Com INSTALLATION AND ADMINISTRATION PROFESSIONAL (3IAP)
After the recommendation has been made and the products are sold, the skills of a 3Com Installation and Administration Professional (3IAP) are needed. 3IAP training courses provide you with instructor led hands-on installation, configuration, and administration expertise.
Earning your 3IAP is easy. Select the product or product family training of your choice from one of the technology areas above (LAN, WAN, VOIP, Network Management, Wireless, Security, SMB), complete the course and successfully pass the written exam and/or the hands-on exam at the end of the course.

CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
3Com SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT (3SA)
3Com Global Education and Training believes that individuals that successfully demonstrate pre-sales technical and post-sales technical skills by completing the 3Com Design Professional (3DP) and 3Com Installation and Administration Professional (3IAP) credentials for a specific product or product family should be recognized for their achievement. It is these individuals that can proudly call themselves a 3Com Solutions Architect (3SA).
We will not tell you that earning your 3SA is easy, because it takes dedication and commitment, but thats what makes the 3SA more distinctive. Become one of a growing number of individuals proud to say they are a 3Com Solutions Architect.
To earn your Solutions Architect Certification:
Step 1 - Enroll in a Solutions Architect Training Program through the Learning Center
Step 2 - Complete Design Professional Training for a specific product or product family and successfully pass the exam/s
Step 3 - Complete Installation and Administration Professional Training for a specific product or product family and successfully pass the exam/s
After completing the above steps, a certificate will be made available through your Learning Center Transcript.
